Symbiotics Investments provided CJSC Microfinance Company Elet-Capital with subordinated debt in the amount of USD 0.5 million
Symbiotics Investments has provided its first ever subordinated loan to a microfinance company in Kyrgyzstan to its partner CJSC Microfinance Company Elet-Capital (hereinafter – Elet-Capital).
The subordinated loan in Kyrgyz SOM equivalent to 0.5 million US dollars provided to Elet-Capital in the last days of November is part of the subordinated debt approved by the investor for a total amount of 1 million US dollars for strengthening the capitalization of Elet-Capital.
Through the deal, Symbiotics Investments aims to support Elet-Capital's sustainable growth plans to provide households, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in rural areas, with much-needed financing.
Elet-Capital has been cooperating with Symbiotics since 2020 and this cooperation contributed significantly in solving social problems of the population via expanding access to financing sources.
